There is no way to do the same. Better you use customized matching template.

If you're using just the basic drag and drop, those are typically with objects or images you've inserted and therefore you could customize. If you're using one of the drag and drop templates, the colors are controlled by theme colors.

I'm using the Graded Quiz Matching Drag and Drop template in Storyline 2.  I want the colours of the drag shapes to be different from the drop shapes.   Theme colours don't seem to do anything to these shapes.  Looks like I need to do a customised drag and drop.

Hi Michelle,

Yes, you won't be able to separate those colors - so you may want to look at the freeform drag and drop option, which can still be a graded question type.
