I have a matching drag and drop exercise, all text is displayed nicely in the edit mode. When I preview or publish the slide something happens and some words are not displayed correctly, see attachment (it should be wat and worden). Any idea why?
What font are you using as a part of your course? I know our QA team has investigated some spacing issues, but it seems that it's connected to the ligature support that was introduced as a part of Storyline 2 and how the different fonts and letters will space once published or preview.
If you'd like to share a copy of your .story file or what font you're using, I can also share this with our QA team to have them take a look and confirm if it's the same set up.
Thanks - it looks like you're using Storyline 1 vs. Storyline 2. I tried to recreate the behavior in your file with a new matching drag and drop set up and it worked normally. Perhaps it's the set up you've used to modify the sizing and behavior of the drag and drop? Can you tell me what steps you went through to modify the matching set up?
I inserted a matching drag and drop, entered my text and then changed the height and width. It must have something to do with that I have modified the sizing of the drag and drop, because I just tested to make it 5 pixels wider and then the text displays correctly. I will keep that in mind the next time I am using a matching drag and drop :)
Thanks Ulrika for checking in on a new set up - and I'm happy to hear it all worked out! Another good reminder is to remember to work on local project files as detailed here.
