I have to export my course in HTML5 only. Additionally, my course must by 508 compliant. When I come to matching drop-down style questions, the keyboard will not access the drop-downs and allow me to use the up and down arrows to access the answers. I have also tried a multitude of other buttons to see if any will allow me to access the answers, but to no avail.
Could you please provide me with some advice for moving forward. Reworking all of the questions that are like this in my course would be a huge overhaul.
My customer can only use IE to access their courses. They are not able to use any other browser. I created this sample and tested it. I run into the same issue as before when I export in HTML5 only.
Thanks for that sample file, and I published to upload here on the Amazon S3 server. I tested it in 3 different browsers (Chrome, Edge, and IE11) and noted that IE11 does have an issue tabbing into the drop-down list. Take a look at my quick Peek recording here.
Let me know if you're able to test my link as well and if you still see it not working in other browsers. It would be helpful to know what browser versions you're using too.
I've shared the issue with IE11 with my team as well, and as Leslie mentioned I know they were looking into a similar issue with the drop-down not narrating either.
Our team still has our eyes on this bug, and we'll keep you updated as we know more. Here's a peek into how we prioritize bugs and fixes. So sorry for the trouble it's causing you and your customer!

Hi Lisa,
This sounds similar to an issue that has been reported to our team.
Curious if JAWS is active when you are experiencing this error?
I tried both with Jaws active and without. Both times, the issue persisted.
Hey Lisa,
Would you be able to share your .story file so that I could take a look?
Also, what browser(s) are you experiencing the difficulty with?
Here's a sample file that I had and this is viewing the HTML5 output in Chrome:

Good morning. I tried the link in IE, Chrome, and Firefox. The dropdowns worked via keyboard in Chrome and Firefox, but the issue persisted in IE11.
Thanks, Lisa for sharing that. I'd suggest using one of those browsers in the meantime and I'll keep you posted on the issue with IE11.
Hello,
Has this issue with IE11 been fixed yet, or will it be soon? My customer can only use IE as mandated by their security team.
Thanks,
lisa

Hi Lisa,
We released another update today for Storyline 3 (Build 3.10.22406.0).
We fixed several accessibility issues, including when accessing the Matching Drop Down list in Internet Explorer 11 was not working correctly.
I apologize for the oversight when we released this update for Storyline 360.
