Matching Dropdown Quiz
Jan 31, 2013
Hi there,
I'm working in Storyline and on a matching dropdown quiz, I have five questions, with a total of two possible answers - that is A or B will be the answer to questions 1 - 5. I entered the questions and correct selection in each line in the quiz setup, copying and pasting the answers so they'd be exactly the same, hoping to only see two options in the pull down. But I'm seeing 5, three of A and two B...
I see two workarounds: I could do a drag and drop to put questions 1 - 5 into categories A and B, or I could do 5 pages of matching dropdowns, with one question on each page. I don't love either.
Any suggestions or thoughts on what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks in advance!

Hi there,
I have the same issue and hoping to find an answer as well. Hope someboday can help us!!
Hi CaroLyn and Welcome Nadia!
I'm curious to see what CaroLyn ended up using for this. Yes, if you use the same response multiple times it will list each time - because the quiz sees this as a separate answer.
I'm wondering if using a freeform quiz, or even just creating the illusion of a drop down would work for either of you?
Hi - I ended up doing a drag and drop to put the five answers into box A or B. Meh.
