Maximum number of attempts on overall quiz

ISSUE: Questions will not reset to re-answer when click RETAKE QUIZ button.
BACKGROUND - our team:
1. Created a master template with a master question bank.
2. Copied this template to create five (5) presentations.
3. Tested each presentation at least three (3) times each before uploading to the LMS
4. Tested each presentation on the LMS at least three (3) times each after upload
5. Went to production and now the questions will not reset to retake
Any clues as to what is the issue? Thanks in advance for any and all assistance.

Hi Barbara,
Might be a shot in the dark, but if they're still hosted on the same LMS and you're viewing the same course that you tested so many times, it may possibly be a caching issue.
Can you try clearing your browser cache and see if that helps?
Also, what browser are you using to view the course(s)? Try using a different browser and let me know if you still see the same thing.
Thanks!
Thanks for the reply, Christine. I did try clearing cache, but that did not have an impact either way. We do have ActiveX blocked, and ask folks to allow it. Could that be an issue?
Hi Barbara,
I wouldn't think so, but it may be worth testing it if you're able to. If it's just now starting, though, I can't see how it'd be an issue.
If it had behaved like this from the start, I would consider that as a cause.
Has anything changed since you last tested the course? When it was functioning properly? Have you uploaded it to a different server, LMS, or published using a different method?
Thanks!
Christine, sorry for the delay. It was user error ... seems we inadvertently moved a button trigger. 'Reset results' was at the bottom and not at the top of the trigger list. We know that 'Reset results' must come before moving to retake the quiz.
Thanks for your assistance.
Hi Barbara,
No problem! I'm happy to hear you were able to sort this out. Thanks very much for the update :)
Have a great day,
Christine
