I want the students to be able to followup after their progression throuought the course. The menu show the student's location by slide and not by a scene. How can i custom the course so the student will be aware of his location just by a scene name?
You could create your own separate TOC slide and have it come up as a lightbox or a separate slide (e.g., have a button on the player to call it up). Then, using variables to track when each page has been visited, you could customize how visited topics look in the TOC.
Would be lot of work for a big course.
Actually did this for someone who needed a SL course in HTML5 to have restricted navigation (you can't use the menu in HTML5 yet and have restricted navigation). So we used custom navigation so the learner could only go forwards or back or use the separate TOC slide to only move back to slides that they had previously visited.

Hi!
See this tutorial on customizing the menu: http://community.articulate.com/tutorials/products/customizing-the-player-menu.aspx
One thing you can do in your slide menu is manually put in headings, which can be your Scene names. Then indent the slides under their heading.
Hi,
Thank you for quick response. The problem is that it's not helpful for indentification of student progress. I fount this turtorial - http://articulate.cmail2.com/t/ViewEmail/r/43CECB2235CCDAE9/28E816C1BBA716264BD7C9066BE4161D
Maybe you have some additional ideas?
