Well, you have a few options. If you want to work with the Menu in the Storyline Player, you can rename it, and move it to where you'd like it to show as a tab on the Player. You won't be able to natively show the Player menu from a button on the slide, though.
You CAN build a custom menu, however, and trigger it to appear any way you'd like on the slide! That's the wonderful thing about Storyline-- your imagination is the limit. :)
