Menu Button

I saw a training a while back that had a button that you pressed to turn on the menu on the left-hand side of the screen. By default the menu screen was off though. Is this a built in feature in Storyline that I am missing? I do not want to have the menu option turned on by default but I would not be opposed to giving a user the option of pressing a button to turn it on.
Thanks,
Rob

I'm not sure if this is what you saw, but you can make the Menu an Overlay-style menu by moving the Menu link up into the players top bar, as shown below.
Thanks. That is not what I have seen though. I saw a button on the lower left hand corner near the next button. It looked like a re-size button, arrows pointing outwards, and when you clicked on it the menu appeared on the left hand side of the player.
Hi Rob,
It sounds like it was a custom button, as what Michael shared are the default settings within the player and how you can move the menu around from the side, to top right or top left.
Hi Rob! That's not a standard feature, but you could submit a feature request for that.
Also, you can check out this thread here for some other ideas on player features.
So, perhaps you can put your menu on the top left as shown below, and I think this may be close to what you are looking for:
Hope this helps!
