I set the Menu tab to the top left of the course. When I select something from the drop downmenu list it doesn't work. Nothing happens. It has worked before on other courses OK. Am I doing something wrong?
no the menu is set to free, however the buttons on my menu slide are all set as inactive [except the first Intro one] until the previous one has been visited.[they all link to videos]
Also my Notes tab has just disappeared now when previewed although it is ticked in the Player settings. They were OK a while ago. Something strange happening.
I think i answered my own question here and solved the issue with the 'Notes' disappearing. I had to reactivate the notes tick in the custom settings on each slide. Somehow they got removed while I was making adjustments. Thanks for your initial help. It helped me work it out.
Thanks Mandy for the update, and if player elements are missing/included on a slide even though you haven't enabled them within the player set up, you'll want to check the individual slide properties as described here to ensure it hasn't been set to custom.
If elements of your project continue to behave oddly, you'll also want to confirm that you're working with local project files as described here.

Hi Mandy,
Have you set up restrictions on your navigation, such as making it Locked or Restricted?
