Menu Features
Nov 03, 2017
I am building out several courses in Storyline 360. As I will be uploading these courses to an LMS I don't necessarily want the learner to see the menus. I would however like them to have access to the menu for review purposes. I know how to turn the menu feature off, but is there a way to have it hidden or collapsed so that it only revealed when the learner needs it? Similar to the way it works in the mobile view?
Many thanks!
Thomas

Great question, Thomas! This is definitely possible. :)
First, enable the menu in Player Properties. You'll want to add it to Topbar Left or Topbar Right.
From there, you can turn the menu on and off on a per-slide basis in the Slide Properties. The fastest way to do this is using the Player Features dropdown in Story View.
Hope that helps!
Thanks Alyssa. That may be a solution. Unfortunately that changes the size of the player so I will need to see how that looks in the LMS. I may need to make the player transparent. Thanks for your help!
Sure thing, Thomas! And if you are interested in making the player transparent, check out this tutorial. It's for Storyline 2, but the method works the same in any version of Storyline.
