I have created a menu that opens and closes when clicking on the three lines as shown in the screenshots below, however when clicking on the back button the menu re-opens and overlaps the back button. How can I ensure that the menu does not open when the back button is pressed. Menu should only open when then 3 lines are clicked.
The menu is on a separate layer, the three lines open/close the menu, however when the back button is clicked if the menu is not closed then the menu stays there, I have added to the back button hide menu layer when clicking on the back button but the menu is still displayed
Hi Walt, thank you for your reply, I am unsure how to do this, when clicking on the back button the menu does not close, do I need to create another layer and select hide layer to hide the menu
I'd love to take a look at your . .story file and how these triggers are set up. That way we could see what you have enabled for your menu and your back button to play around with it.
Thank you for your reply, I have attached an example of the menu navigation that I have got, as you will see when the back button is clicked and the menu has not been closed on the previous page, it still appears when clicking on the back button. Also for example when on page 1 I click on the page 1 link nothing happens that menu stays open. I am new to Articulate, please could you assist me in adding triggers or point me in the right direction as to what I need to do. I have noticed also that when clicking on a link in the menu that already has been visited, the menu again stays open.

Something, (Probably the flip side of whatever opens the menu) needs to close the menu before a jump is executed from the menu.

Thanks for sharing your file and allowing us to take a look Qasem :)
Trigger order is important, even on those Master Slides.
Your base layer was set to:
Which means you would jump to the next slide, never giving the 'hide layer' trigger a chance to fire.
Swap it to:
Now it seems to work as you intend.
Hope that helps :)
Thank you very much for your help with this Leslie, this is most helpful
Glad to hear it Qasem :)
