Menu not jumping back to previous scene

Oct 05, 2020

Hi there

I have a course with a number of slides in each scene. I do not want all of these slide titles showing within the menu so I have removed some of them in the menu but now if the learner uses the previous button to jump back to a slide in the previous scene - the menu does not show that the learner is in that previous scene. The menu only turns the previous scene red when the learner jumps all the way back to the first slide in that scene.

This is confusing for the learner as it looks as though they are on the wrong topic.

I have tried having the slides without scenes, indenting all of the slides within a topic, removing all of the slides in a scene from the menu but nothing seems to work.

If there something I am missing?

Thanks

Alena

Hi Alena,

Thanks for sharing your experience when you jump to a previous slide that's hidden within the Menu. It looks like jumping to a previous scene isn't highlighted, even though the hidden slide that is revisited is within that scene.

I'm sorry you're running into this issue! We have it reported, and I will be sure to share your scenario with our team as they continue to track the impact of this bug. Once we have any progress to share, we'll pop back in here to update you!

In the meantime, you'll have to reset your menu to include all slides as that will ensure the correct scene gets highlighted when revisiting.
