Menu not tracking slide?

I am having a problem with the menu tracking for the slides. So, the highlighted portion of the menu is highlighting the incorrect menu item compared to the slide being shown. I have attached a png of what is happening. I have checked the player menu and some other options but I can not figure out why this is happening. I can attach the storyline file if needed.

It would be helpful to see the file to get a better idea of why only certain slides are highlighted.

You can share your file with us by using the "Add Attachment" button in this discussion.

While we don't have a solution to share from Chris' scenario, we're happy to keep digging! A few questions for you to narrow down why the wrong content gets displayed:

What version of Storyline are you using? Click on the Help tab, then About Storyline.
Is the course hosted on a web server or a learning management system?
Would you mind sharing the .story course for testing? You can send it to us privately by using this upload link. We'll have a look and delete the file after!
