In SL1 there's an option to add a menu to the top bar on the left or right. In SL2 this seems to be missing. I can see that I can add a lightbox, but that isn't what I want to do. Can anybody point me in the right direction please?
This still exists in SL2. Just go to the player options and click the new button (looks like a blank page) and specify what its called, where its located, and what it does.
Thanks for replying. I have used the 'new' button but it only gives me the options (please see screenshot attached) which allow a lightbox and other functions, but not the standard menu as it used to be in SL1. Unless I've missed something obvious?
Wow, thank you so much I have wasted hours of my life working with various menus because I thought the menu could only be on the sidebars I even made a light box menu as a simpler solution.
Thank you for sharing how to do this, the problem is it was so easy I completely missed it.
Only wish I had searched for this days ago, but then I would have missed a great opportunity to deepen my SL skills :-)

Hi David!
The menu is still a standard feature of the player. Adding a custom tab would be in addition to.
You can still choose to display the menu and move it to the location you wish.
Check out this tutorial for assistance.
Hi Leslie,
Got it - thanks very much :-)
No problem David. Thanks for popping in with an update.

Glad that this conversation was able to help you out as well, David.
You're right, sometimes the trial and error are the best lessons and we discover other things along the way :)
