Menu Restrictions

Hello,
I am running into a snag when it comes to restricting participants from skipping content in the training. When I apply the restricted mode in the menu feature, it also overrides my set triggers to allow participants the ability to move to next slide after the slide reaches a certain time. When I set the menu feature to free, everything works fine.
Is this just how the program works or is there a work around that will allow me to restrict users from skipping content while still accepting the triggers in place?

Hi Jelani,
The player/menu navigation settings in Articulate Storyline 2 affect both the menu and the player buttons (next/previous), so that sounds like it's interfering with your custom triggers. This article describes a bit more on how to lock/restrict navigation using these settings.
After customer feedback shared here in ELH, we changed how this behaved with Storyline 3 and Storyline 360, but unfortunately that's not a fix we're able to implement in Storyline 2.
