Is there a way for your the final Storyline output to have the option of opening and closing the Menu tab when the viewer is going through the course? I would prefer to let them decide whether the Menu tab is always visible on the side or be able to open/close it when they need it to maximize the screen space size.
Have you tried moving the Menu to the Topbar Left tab? If you go the Home tab, click Player, in the Features layout, move the Menu up to the Topbar Left. There you can easily show/hide the Menu.
If you prefer to maintain the Menu on the Sidebar, you can check out this discussion on using Javascript to show/hide the Menu. Hope this helps!

Thanks for reaching out! While this is an option in the Modern player in Storyline 360, Storyline 3 does not have this feature.
Have you tried moving the Menu to the Topbar Left tab? If you go the Home tab, click Player, in the Features layout, move the Menu up to the Topbar Left. There you can easily show/hide the Menu.
