Microphone not being recognized Sep 20, 2012 By Chris Steelman Although Windows 7 recognizes the installation of my USB microphone, I do not see the "Record Mic" option highlighted under Insert: Sound option. Any suggestions?

Also, are you by chance working in a Parallels/Mac environment? If so, you'll find a thread here where Wayne was working through some similar issues.
