Migrating Storyline from a Win7 laptop to a Sony Vaio Win8 LT

I am trying to migrate Storyline from a Windows 7 laptop to a Sony Vaio Windows 8 laptop. I have De-installed Storyline on my old W7 laptop and downloaded - any thoughts on what issue is and how I can fix? I am using Norton but was on my old LT and had no issues getting it to activate. Any thoughts gratefully received. thanks Jon Lane

HI Jon,

Are you seeing any kind of error messages - from Articulate, Windows, or otherwise?

What exactly is happening when trying to run Storyline?

Any more information would be appreciated. Thanks!

I run storyline.exe as user administrator as you usually do to run set up - Norton security s/w prompts to ask "do you want this programme to make changes to your computer - I say yes, get revolving circle for a few seconds and then nothing happens?

oh and in Norton I have been in setting, programe rules, and set up to allow Storyline
