Mime type Jul 18, 2014 By Niall Watts I need to know the mime type for Storyline .story and .storytemplate files so that I can add them to a repository. I can't find this info anywhere. Thanks Niall Watts

Niall Watts Author over 9 years ago07/18/14 at 7:09 am (UTC) The correct answer is '' application/octet-stream" - with the help of http://mime.ritey.com/ Alex, video/mpeg is the mime type for mp4 not .story Thanks
Alexandros Anoyatis over 9 years ago07/19/14 at 5:47 am (UTC) "Application/octet-stream" is a generic content type, you'll get that for most generic byte streams, therefore it's not specific to Storyline. If you don't add "video/mpeg" to your repo on the other hand, you may not be able to view mp4 videos.
