Missing answer option text in HTML5 iPad course
Nov 12, 2013
Hi, we are having an issue with answer text options not appearing on a standard multiple choice slide. This only happens when the HTML5 course runs in an LMS on an iPad,
I've dug around a bit and found that if I run story_html5.html the answer option text appears correctly but if I run index_lms_html5.html we see the problem. This is on a PC running the standalone course.
So, I edited index_lms_html5.html to use player_compiled.js (instead of storyline_compiled.js). The course now works but I haven't tested it in the LMS yet.
Could you please tell me the difference between:
player_compiled.js
storyline_compiled.js
Can we simply use player_compiled.js to fix this problem and successfully run the published course in an LMS on the iPad?
Thanks.

Good Morning, Richard.
We can't support the modification of published Storyline output, so this sounds like a potential bug that we should take a closer look at.
Could you please send us a copy of your .story project file for further testing? Thanks!
Richard:
Upon further review, it looks like this is a known issue. The steps you've already taken are precisely the workaround we are recommending. Great catch!
