Mobile Friendly Menus

I would really like to see a Storyline 2 layout that takes ALL the controls, banners, whatever off the screen.
In this layout, the only time you see controls is if you swipe them in, or tap the small triangle.
Controls that need to be on screen all the time should be ghosted to that they are see thru and don’t effect the onscreen movie or graphic. In this way we have a maximum amount of viewing area for the largest possible graphics to be viewed on the smallest screens.
Anyone have ideas on accomplishing this using SL2?
See attached files for sample.
Thanks,
Mike

Hi, Mike, and welcome to the community!
To the best of my knowledge, I am not aware of a way to do exactly what you are looking for, so I will defer to the community for suggestions. I also wanted to share this info on How to Create a Chromeless Player in case that may be of some use to you, and if you would like to share your ideas or suggestions with our Product Development team, you would be able to do so using this form.
Hi Mike,
Yes if you use the setting provided by Christie for the chrome-less player, then what i would do is add a layer, add all your buttons, then on the base layer add a hotspot to call up the layer.
You could amend the transparency of your buttons to your preference, to give you the "ghosted" effect.
Thanks for sharing your suggestion, Michael! :)
Thanks for you insight- I will review your suggestions.
Good deal, Mike, and we will look forward to hearing back on how things worked out when you have a chance! :)
I like your idea, although concerned about custom navigation buttons that need special player triggers for next/prev. If anyone has created the chrome-less player, ghosted buttons and other affects that open the working screen space for mobile devices, please share samples.
Hi Mike,
if you can upload something for me to toy with, I'll add a layer with "ghosted" buttons. That is revealed from a hotspot, as I suggested.
if you could upload a storyline file for me, so I have the correct dimensions you are after working with. If you have any button ideas you would like to include also would be great. And I shall "Ghost" them.
Thanks for your continued assistance, Michael!
And if you would like to share your file, Mike, please use the ADD ATTACHMENT button in the bottom left corner of the reply box in the thread, and you can browse for the file from there. Please also note that if you reply via email, your attachment will not appear here in the thread. Thanks! :)
