Mobile Player error - cannot download content -one or more files cannot be found

Jun 08, 2015

FYI,  I already read the following -

http://www.articulate.com/support/storyline-2/cannot-access-content-error-when-launching-articulate-storyline-content-in-the-articulate-mobile-player-sl2

But the problem I encountered is a bit different.

Specifically, there's a problem with accessing the published mobile content only (amplaunch.html). Web access from other formats (html; flash; html5) work fine. And the problem with mobile player only occurs with one specific unit (Unit 6.3) out of ten or so published units using the same template and Publish settings.

Unit 6 Lesson 3 Video Clips (D&L)

compared with other units that work fine: (U 6.1)

Unit 6 Lesson 1 Video Clips (D&L)

I published with SL2 update 5 and tested on iPad iOS 8.3 with Articulate App 3.25, and also on Samsung Note 3.

The only difference specific to Unit 6.3  is that it has a slide layer (Listening Practice) with hotspots for audio files.

I republished and reuploaded Unit 6.3 many times with the same  result.

Could it be a bug in the mobile player?

Any advice on how to fix it?

Thanks.

Hi Leslie,
I republished and re-uploaded the output files again today but still get
Mobile Player error on iPad and Samsung Note 3.
Here's the link to the output folder:

I will also reupload the source file (.story) to
http://thai.hawaii.edu/tempdownload/

Please help figure out why my republished version of this particular unit
still has problem with Mobile Player.
Thanks.

Hi Yuphaphann!

Please be sure that you are publishing to the web as explained here. I would also utilize the zip option directly on the Publish Successful dialog box instead of manually zipping the files.

I would also advise that you test on Tempshare to see if you experience the same error as perhaps it is the web server.
