I’m curious. Does anyone have any perspective on using mobile ready options in Articulate Storyline products? What I mean is, I have been told that when mobile ready options are part of my SCORM package that the module downloads directly to the mobile device. Thus a former employee could still have proprietary information on a personal device posing a risk to the company. Is that true?
Hi there, Justin. This is a great question. Courses can be downloaded for offline viewing only in the Articulate Mobile Player app.
When publishing in Storyline 360 or Storyline 3, the Articulate Mobile Player is not enabled by default. You can choose to enable it to allow a course to be downloaded to the app on an iPad or an Android device.
If you haven't enabled this option, courses are only available through the web link or the LMS where they're hosted. Here's more information on publishing your course for mobile devices. Let me know if you have any questions!
