Hi there, Just wondering if this is intended as designed, with the modern player my courses move up and down with the scroll bar. Tends to be annoying when navigating. I have this happening on two courses I released using the modern player, is there a fix?
Hi Crystal, I have still the same problem when I use the firefoxe or Edge. With Google Chrome I got no problems.
I'm seeing this on all of my slides. I have several videos within my curse. I'm using the lastest version of Firefox and Edge. I see a big black rectangle.
Hi Stefan. Thanks for replying with those details! I can't replicate this behavior in a test file on my end. With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.

I just uploaded the file. I'm looking forward to your feedback.
Thank you, Stefan, for sharing your file. I'm seeing the scrolling behavior again when a custom slide size is used in combination with layers and videos. I was able to recreate the scrolling in a new file using 1440x1080, for example.
I'll make sure our team knows the distinction so we can have another look at this bug. In the meantime, is using a default 16x9 story size a possibility for you, Stefan? I realize you may have to reformat some object placement on your slides. When I changed your story size and republished, I no longer saw the scrolling.
We'll keep you posted on any changes to this behavior!
Is anyone still having this issue? I'm using SL360, am running the latest version, and am suddenly seeing this appear in my courses in Chrome. I'd actually never had this problem until I installed the latest update.
Hi Alyssa. They were published with the latest update. They're housed on a web server. I can't share links or screen shots on here due to proprietary reasons. Is there an email address I can send them to?

Hi there, Vanda. I'm sorry you're still seeing an issue. To make sure I can replicate and test your setup properly, tell me a little bit more:
Thanks, and I'll be happy to investigate further!

Hey, folks. Hot off the press: Update 26 for Storyline 360 is live! 🎁
We fixed the issue where an unnecessary scroll bar and dark gray rectangle would reappear below the published course (when using the modern player).
Check out all the other new fixes and features here, and let us know what you think!
