Using the modern player (either the black or white versions) adding a Logo in the player's properties isn't showing it when previewing slides or when publishing.
Hi - I'm following this thread. Just wanted to say I am also unable to view a logo I add using the modern player. This has occurred for months. I don't have time to play with it and figure it out, so I always revert back to the classic player. Hope someone comes up with a solution.

My issue is happening in Rise.
It will not allow me to upload any pictures for the logo
or for the cover page. I have tried several different
image types, jpeg, gif, and png. None will work.
I was looking through this thread earlier today when my logo disappeared from my player. The only thing that changed was I updated the filename to have brackets. When I removed the brackets from the filename, the logo returned.
A possible solution for anyone who's still having logo issues...
Wow, Chris. What a curious little glitch. I'll add that to our documentation of another issue we saw with logos so that we're aware. Thanks for the update!
I'm running into the same issue. The logo is fine when previewing but disappears upon publishing. I'm using SL360 on a Windows 7 machine and tried viewing in IE and Chrome without success.
I've just created a module with the modern player, and the logo in the course wrapper shows up fine above the menu in LMS output. However, when I publish to Web or CD-ROM and view the html5 file, the logo doesn't show at all - just a black space. (Windows 10, latest updates...tried IE and Chrome browers, working from C drive)
Has there been a resolution or work-around on this?
I could see the issue with Philippe's files on my end, but I couldn't reproduce it using my own file with a different logo image. Hopefully we can nail down the cause!
Hi there, Kimberly. There were some instances where we could reproduce the issue on our end when viewing the published output directly from the output folder. When you view the output in your browser, are you hosting it on your website or LMS, or are viewing it from the folder on your desktop?
We're happy to test on our end, as well. With your permission, I can look at your project file and logo image file to investigate what's happening. You can share them publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.
You have the files, I'm not sure why you are asking for them again. I did create a new player and that seemed to work. It's like the player file got corrupt. Is there anyway you can confirm that using the files I sent already?

It looks like your email signature came through when you replied via email. You can remove that if needed by clicking ‘Edit’ beneath your response. Here’s a quick Peek video if you need help.
I just uploaded a logo and it appears in the player preview but not when I preview the entire course or when I publish. I have the menu enabled in the topbar instead of the sidebar. When I switched the menu to the sidebar, then the logo showed up. I don't want the menu in the sidebar. Has there been a resolution for this or is everyone just sending in their files to get help?
We've still got our eyes on an issue in Storyline 360 where the player logo will not display if you don't have any sidebar features enabled. It sounds like you're running into that issue, as well.

I figured it out. I was not using an approved browser.
I switched to Chrome and now everything is working properly.

Hi there, Lora. Your situation sounds similar to Philippe, where the logo wasn't showing up when viewing the published output locally. Can you share your .story file and also the logo image file with our team for testing?
