We can't reproduce it on desktop now. However, we noticed that a 5 year old iPad will play animations less smoothly and audio will get out-of-sync enough to be disappointing.
New iPads play well. Seems there is a horsepower issue with HTML5 playback.

Curious if this is slide transitions you're seeing an issue with or objects on your slide?
If you have a sample .story slide for us to take a look at, that would be helpful.
Objects. We also found that subsequent testing did not show HTML5 issues. No idea why.
