When resuming a course, it doesn't appear as though the Resume or Restart buttons in the modern player are accessible by keyboard - nothing receives focus on the screen and JAWS does not announce anything. Am I overlooking something?
Thanks so much for bringing this to our attention, and I'm seeing the same problem in my own testing. I know this is impacting your learners, so I'm going to get this to my team to see how we can help.
Hi, Alyssa. Has this been changed? I just saw a project (published by someone else so I don't know what version of SL) using the modern player that has the classic prompt to resume dialog box that is keyboard accessible.
Thanks for checking in! Our team is hard at on a fix, and we're targeting to release that fix in the next update of Storyline 360.
As of now, the resume button is still not keyboard accessible. You can test that using this course I just published with the latest update of Storyline 360 by clicking here.
Looks like you can tab between the resume and restart button, but once either is selected and course resumes or restarts you can no longer tab through.
This still doesn't work. When publishing the modern player and selecting Propt to resume the Resume or Restart buttons are Not accessible via the keyboard so the user cannot access any of the content.
Thank you for letting us know! Does this appear to happen for every course or just a specific one?
If it is a specific file, could I have you try importing the existing Storyline course into a new file? After that, try re-publishing the course to see if the issue persists.
Is the not resuming still an issue with the modern player as I am having the same problem. I have tried the project in the classic player and it is fine, but fails to work in the modern player.
Thanks for contacting us and sharing that you're experiencing a similar issue.
It looks like there were a couple of issues here previously:
The resume prompt was not keyboard-accessible when using the modern player. Released in Update 20.
Keyboard navigation not working when resumed if published to LMS. Released in Update 26.
Do you know what version of Storyline you're using?
You can check by going to: Help > About Articulate Storyline
We are currently on Build 3.39.21985.0 of Storyline 360. You can read all of the details here.
With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.

Hi again Margaret!
I wanted to pop in to let you know that we just released update 20 for Storyline 360!
One of the fixes addresses an issue where the resume prompt is not accessible with the Tab key.
It includes lots of other improvements too, and you can check them all out here.
Here’s how you can update Storyline 360 to take advantage of everything the latest release has to offer. Let me know how you make out!
Thank you so much for alerting me! I wouldn't have realized that from the release notes. I appreciate the notice.

So sorry you ran into that bug, Shawn. We're seeing the same problem. As soon as we get this sorted out, we'll let you know!
Hi Alyssa any updates to this?
Hello Shawn,
No update yet, but this conversation is attached to the report when we have any news to share with you here.
I wanted to share some information on how we define bugs and how we tackle them when they occur.
Hi Shawn,
Great news! We just released another update for Articulate 360 and included a few important fixes that you'll see in the release notes here.
The item you'll be interested in is:
When using the modern player, the keyboard navigation didn't always work after resuming the course.
Just launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button for Storyline 360. Details here.

Hi,
This still doesn't work. When publishing the modern player and selecting Propt to resume the Resume or Restart buttons are Not accessible via the keyboard so the user cannot access any of the content.
Any news when this will be fixed?
Thanks,
Robert
