I have several packages that were published with the "Sidebar starts collapsed" setting checked. Since publishing, it has been decided that the sidebar menu should be open by default. Is it possible to modify this setting without republishing? Could I, e.g., simply modify a bit of code in the story.html launch file to change this setting?
Actually, we don't support configuring the coding in the published output files. I bet someone in this community who is a coding expert can be a guide!
I'll leave it to them to offer specific coding insight!
Go to My Articulate Projects\your Storyline output\html5\data\js\frame.js Open in Notepad if you don't have a proper code editor Search for "sidebar" Change the value of "close" to true

Hello Peter!
Since these are changes in the Player, you'll want to republish. I hope it's a quick fix!
Thank you for getting back to me. Just out of curiosity, is the code controlling that that setting found in the story.html launch file?
