Modifying Feedback Master Button
May 03, 2012
I can modify the Feedback Master successfully with one exception. Changes I make to the button are not reflected in the course, either in previous mode, or when published. Above is the Correct Answer feedback master. I've done a lot of editing, including font color, background color, and inserting a character. Below is what happens when the Learner gets a correct response. Notice that the button doesn't reflect changes from the master.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
TX!

Hi Alyssa, I was able to replicate the same issue in this file. Please let me know what you think. Thanks!
Hi Will,
Thanks for sharing your sample file with me. This is a tough one; I tried a few different workarounds, but unfortunately none of them worked. I tried copying the "Continue" button from one of the other feedback masters, pasting it on the Try Again feedback master, and changing the button text to "Try Again". It all works well until you remove the "Jump to next slide..." trigger.
At this stage, I would suggest that you reach out to the Support Engineers for further troubleshooting. They're available 24/7 and will work with you one on one to get to the bottom of this!
I've reached out to the support team and will update y'all as soon as I hear back from them!
Thanks! My colleague Renato has taken your case (00991338), and it looks like he's testing your file now. You should hear back from him shortly!
Looks like the Support Engineers are trying to find a fix for this issue, but here's a workaround in the meantime:
Insert your Try Again button (with the hide layer trigger) on the feedback slide for every quiz question you have, and delete the button off of the master feedback slide.
Thanks for popping back in to share the details of the workaround. It looks like Renato shared the issue you're seeing with our QA team, and we’ll be sure to post any updates here in this discussion! You’ll receive an email notification because you are now subscribed to this post.
