I am developing a using screen records. I have found the next and previous buttons don't function so I have added a menu so the user can navigate back.
I have sent for review and we are finding if you go back using the menu it won't let you navigate past the point you were at when you selected to go back (hope this makes sense).
Are you using SL360? The July 11 update had some changes to the way the Menu and Next button worked together - not sure if that could be your issue...here is the KB article of the release notes and here is a previous post about the update.
If that isn't your issue or you are not using SL360 can you share the .story file so someone can take a look and try to help you
Is it SL360? If so, check the LMS if there is a setting for IE compatibility - that seems to be something people have been mentioning here in the forum.

Hi Michelle
which menu setting do you have selected
Hi Wendy
I used the restricted setting as I want users to be able to navigate back if they need to but not move forward

Before I try and download it
Are you publishing to Web or LMS? If LMS have you tested in Scormcloud(industry standard).
Are you viewing the flash or HTML5 output and which browser are you using?
If it's working fine in Preview, then we'd need to identify what's different about the publish enviornment.
Hi Wendy
I am publishing to LMS I haven't tried ScormCloud.
We are viewing the HTML5 in explorer. I did do another module and had no issues so apart from the size I can't see where I am going wrong.

Hello no it is Storyline 2
Hi Michelle
IE is not a supported browser for SL2 HTML5 output - see the tech specs below
Are you able to provide some advise on sending to others for review using IE?
Try uploading it to Scormcloud and test it there - you may be able to send links out for review from there if it works ok.
