I'm testing a Storyline module on our company's LMS tool. When testing the module, it works on all platforms (pc/mac/iPad) in every browser except for Internet Explorer. It was output at HTML5.
None of the text shows up... titles, buttons. Has anyone else ran into this problem??
Yes I am... So when the HTML5 content is limited, I have to choose between IE11 and iPad? (Since Flash won't work on iPad). Do you know anyway to get a module to work on both? and on our AICC LMS?
By default if you just run the story.html file in IE11 you'll see the Flash content. If you point specifically to the story_html5.html file then you may encounter the issues within IE11 having limited HTML5 support. There wouldn't be much of a reason to force a desktop browser to use the HTML5 version, but if you're looking into it for test purposes I'd recommend trying in Google Chrome. You can publish to include the HTML5 content and then you'd also be able to access the course on your iPad using mobile safari.
You'll also want to check that when testing your content you're testing within the intended publish environment, as testing it locally could cause you to encounter some unusual behavior or security restrictions.

Hi Gregory,
Are you trying to view the HTML5 content within IE11? Internet Explorer has limited support for HTML5 as you'll see at the bottom of this chart and you'll want to view the Flash version there.

I'd also suggest reviewing this article on publishing for ipad and HTML5.
