I have a lesson in which I changed the NEXT button to say Start. Throughout the module, there are no Prev/Next buttons, rather the learner navigates through hotspots and links.
At the very end, I typically say click Next to Exit this module - but now my next button says Start.
Can I make another next button, or re-title it to say Exit for only the last slide?
Since you said you are not using the Previous button, could you rename the Previous button to 'Exit' and add a trigger to the 'Exit' button to exit the module?
I could, but I don't think I can get rid of the arrow (<). Maybe I could use the SUBMIT button. I just wondered if I can add new buttons to the Player?
Ah, great point Teri. Unfortunately you cannot add new buttons to the player, but you can add custom tab with a trigger to exit - more info on that here.
And yes, try the Submit button and let me know if that works for you! If not, you might try a custom tab.
Hi, one issue with using a custom tab is that it will appear on every slide - you can't hide it on individual screens like you can with the other player tabs - so if you don't want the exit tab to appear on every slide then your best bet will be to rename the submit tab and use it.
Using the submit tab also makes for a most consistent user experience.

Thanks Alyssa, I hadn't thought of the custom tab! That is a tremendous help.
You're welcome, Teri! Always glad to help. :)

Thanks for sharing that, Nancy!
