More than One Quiz - Retry Button Issue

Hello, I have a project with 8 knowledge checks (quizzes) through-out the presentation. I have set up each one with a results slide at the end a retry button that allows a user to take the quiz 2 times before getting a "disabled" retry button.

When I go through the whole course and take, for example, quiz 1 and use up my 2 attempts, then go to quiz 2...on the results slide for quiz 2 the retry button doesn't work; its stuck on the "disabled" mode, as if the button is referring back to the variable I created for the retry button on quiz 1. How can I reset that "retry button" to the normal state for each quiz?
