Motion Path + Markers

I have an infographic that requires a left to right motion path for the learner to explore. We plan to have a voice over when the numbered markers on the infographic are clicked. The issue I'm running into is that the markers stay in one spot and don't move with the image. Do I need to create a motion graphic for each marker? Is there another (easier) way to get the marker to stick to the infographic?
See example here.

You can group the markers with the image and move the group.
See here for an example of motion path animations applied to a whole group (the 1st example).
Thanks Michael! Wow, this is an example of overthinking on my end. Super simple fix, appreciate the example as well. Quick question, how did you get the music to play continually over multiple slides? I know I have read about this in a forum but I can't recall now and wondering if it's a simple fix.
Actually, all the example are on layers in ONE slide. The audio is looped on the baselayer. Here is one thread that discussed playing background music across multiple slides.
