I am trying to create an effect where a vehicle goes around a corner and the viewer is above the object. Using the turn motion path gets the corner right but the vehicle doesn't rotate. Does anyone have any ideas on how to create this effect?
Hi, Cary -- Please let us know if Phil's suggestion will do the trick for you, and you are always welcome to post over in the Building Better Courses forum for design input, as well. Best of luck with your project and we'd love to see the finished product! :)
Hello Cary. Looking here to find the same solution. Attempting to use a motion path for an object to follow, then turn or rotate 90 degrees to complete the final part of the path, however in all attempts to date the object remains in its original state, regardless of chose path form (line, curve, freeform, etc.).
If you find a solution please post it here, and I will do the same. Thanks!
Hi Dale, here is what I ended up doing. It is not the most elegant solution but it works well enough. I used states to rotate the image and then use trial and error to get the timing correct.

Could you do a state change, it wouldn't rotate but would be facing the right direction.
