The only problem you may find is if you have external links to HTTP sites or Video embeds to HTTP site these may not work as the browser will treat it as any cross domain content
I had an issue with a course that was launched via https. Inside the course were webobjects that connected to online surveys via http. These surveys threw warnings in IE, because they were not secure (https). So, 'mixing' https and http should be avoided.
