Welcome to Heroes and great question! To drag slides to a New Scene in Story View you will have to create a New Scene to drag them to before hand, or have another existing Scene to drag them into. Basically, there needs to be a destination for your slides to be dragged into. Once you have a new scene, you can select multiple slides at once to drag to it by using Shift+Click and Ctrl+Click.
