Moving Storyline Graphics / Screen Elements Incrementally w/ Keystrokes
May 23, 2016
Hi all,
Has anyone found a way to move on-screen elements (graphics, backgrounds etc.) incrementally or in smaller movements than the default?
Typically in programs like Photoshop for example, you can hold SHIFT and move the on-screen graphical elements in much smaller increments to be certain of desired placement.
Currently in Storyline, I have to right-click the object or group of objects and use the Size/Position menu and adjust Horizontal or Vertical Position -- then check again (without the highlight alignment on), and then repeat this laborious process which costs lots of time.
Is there a key to hold down while moving items w/ the arrows to decrease the amount that graphics move?
I'd be most grateful for any hints or tips in this direction!
Thanks!

hi Byron,
CTRL arrows for single pixels, or (Ctrl shift enter) for the panel!
Hey Richard,
I'm on a mac and in the past that didn't work oddly enough (running in virtual window) but per your instructions I tried again today and it does exactly what I was after! Thanks so much for that, I appreciate the help! :)
What a relief!
Byron
