My LCMS has a 1024x1268 player that plays the articulate player. Even with storyline published at 800x600, the user has to scroll down to see the submit button on questions. Instead what they do is use the LCMS navigation to move forward which sends them ahead to the final assessment and they miss the end of the training.
I want to move the Submit button up or reduce the vertical height of the player. Actually I would love to know how to do both.
I always create a new custom Submit button that I can put anywhere I want, assign the submit trigger to it, and delete the stock Submit button. That way it matches all my other buttons and I can put it anywhere I want.
Still need help reducing the height of the player if anyone has insight. I was told by Storyline technical help the other day that it would automatically decrease in size if less things are on the player. I only have the sound control on the bottom and it is about 4 times the height of that icon on the bottom.
I think you found a rock/ hard place if you want a minimal player with controls. I ended up removing the volume control. Not ideal, but all devices have volume control somewhere so it is covered, I just tell learners to use their device's audio control. BTW, my player only includes the Menu and Notes at the top. All the other borders when you remove the next/back/submit/volume/etc. .. are about 5 points. I also size to fit so it works on any screen.
Greetings Jerry
Yes I use the menu and resources buttons at the top also. I have sound on the bottom bar because there is no option to move it anywhere else and convenience for the user. I do not understand why Play, Pause, and Stop are available for media and not volume and/or mute. Thanks

First, I wanted to mention that replying via email includes your signature here so you're welcome to update the post to remove that if you wish.
In regards to the player sizing you can see what height/width attributes are added based on what you've included here. You may also want to take a look at how you've set the player to scale according to the directions here.
The volume is a separate element on the player from the play/pause/seekbar as the latter is not specific to media but the slide timeline as a whole.

I love simple solutions. Here I thought it would be nice to do it with the template.
This is very simple.
