You're wanting to replace a button throughout all of your slides, correct? I think the only way you'll be able to do this is to copy and paste the button between the slides. You could place the button on the Slide Master, but if you do that, you'll still need to remove the original button (it won't overwrite it).
If this isn't what you're trying to do, can you give me a little more information about what you're trying to accomplish?
If it is just colour change, it is possible if you have used the design colours, you can change all buttons by editing the colour scheme. If not as Christine says it is a laborious process
