thank you for the feedback. I was trying according to the tutorial but it seems not working. Maybe it is because the newer version of my Storyline version. I try further
I am happy you take a look at my file. The first part in the tutorial is clear for me but the conditions are different in my version of Storyline. I dont know how to make it.
you are great. It works. My problem was not been able to create the 'numeric' entry fields. Later today I am working on it to understand the logic. But in the meanwhile I can use it.
now it is working. Just one tiny thing is still strange. On the first question slide I have a "0" before I am typing the results in, on the next slides I have a "NaN". I attached the screenshots and the story file.
Did you try removing the 0's from the initial entry value for those? That's why you're seeing the additional questions as the set up of NaN as there isn't yet a value in there if the initial value was removed.
It does set to the numeric entry value for me once the control loses focus. Let me know if I'm misunderstanding what you're describing.

Order of triggers is important - happy to take a look for you if you want to upload your story file.

Hi Klaus
see attached update to your file.
1. I replaced the rectangle shapes with 'numeric' entry fields that would capture the variable used for each selection.
2. Updated the triggers with conditions
The references to the variables on screen are just for testing to show you what is happening.
Hope this helps

Hi Ashley,
I changed it in a simple way. Just was moving the text boxes out of the slide. It is working anyway and this info is not necessary for the learner.
Thank you
