Multiple Button sets per slide?

How can I give the learner the option of three choices (columns) per item (row) with a button set?
I tried applying a button set to each row, but it still only moved one check-mark around the whole slide.

When you create a button set, you have the ability to name the button set. You need to create a button set for the first row and name that set something like "button set 1". Now you select the three buttons in the second row and create a button set and name it "button set 2" etc. When you build your button sets that way, each row of buttons are seperate.
