Hi all I'm a bit new to Storyline trying to get some basics right. Ive created a multiple choice set of questions and set up triggers etc. I want the user to go to the next available question response after the first second to third etc etc yet it seems stuck on the first. Any advice appreciated . Ive watched many tutorials but still stuck thanks
Hi Wendy thanks so much I’ve almost done it. Naturally I want them to select all the right answers then go to next slide however for some reason it defaults to next slide after each response? Any guidance appreciated. Rob
I can't picture what is happening. Can you send through the .story file so I can see the flow of the slide setup and which slide/s in particular you are having trouble with. The previous slide was setup as multi choice (only allows one selection) not multi response (you wanted 5 selections) - are you wanting feedback to display for each selection or when the 5 have been selected correct or not?
Remove all the show layers correct and incorrect triggers. Go into the form view and place a tick against all the CORRECT responses - this will tell storyline to display the CORRECT layer if all are checked or the INCORRECT layer if one or more are not checked.
Thank you Wendy I did that exactly as you said yet for some reason I’m not allowed to progress through all the radio buttons in preview mode. I’ve recorded the screen attached. Last chance I don’t want to hold you up thank you.
That's what I explained up above...you had your question set up as Multiple Choice instead of Multiple Response. MC only allows one answer so it displays the options with radio buttons. MR allows more than one answer so it displays the options with check boxes. Hope that helps

Hi Rob
is your setup yo show the feedback as soon as they select an option? Can you upload the story file - someone will try and help you
Thanks Wendy here it is. Ironically I'm not stumped on big things with Storyline just a few minor things that continue to crop up many thanks.

Hi Rob. You need the learner to select 5 options on that question so it should be set up as a multi-response not a multi-choice...

Thank you Wendy. I changed to multi choice but after one click it goes to next slide

See attached - I've updated your file.
