I'm working on an interaction with two text entries on one slide. My goal is to have the state of a text box (where I'm giving learners directions) change once both text entries are completed and correct. This is the trigger I'm currently using:
Action: Change state of
On Object: Directions
To State: Final State
When: Variable changes
Variable: TextEntry5
On Condition:
TextEntry5 == Equal to 1005
AND TextEntry6 == Equal to Jordan Williams
However, it's only registering TextEntry6. I can type in any number in TextEntry5 and the state of Directions will still change to Final State. Am I using conditions wrong?
Have a look at the attached and see if that's what you want. Based on your description, the trigger would never execute because when TextEntry5 changes, TextEntry6 is still blank.
Michael, unfortunately, I cannot open your attachment because I only have Storyline 3. However, thank you for clarifying why the trigger isn't working. I'll do some more investigating.
