Multiple Criteria for passing a quiz

Jan 31, 2014

Hi all,

I am trying to create a quiz using question banks (24) in which you must pass each of the 24 sections as well as having an 80 overall grade on the entire quiz.  What's bad is that you can pass all of the sections and still fail the quiz or you can have a overall passing score but fail one section and still fail. Thus far I have loaded all of the question banks, each with 6 questions and randomly choose 4 for the quiz. What I can not figure out is how to be able to tell what the overall score is.

Any help will be appreciated,

Hi Frank!

Welcome to the Elearning Heroes!

Do you have a single question bank or multiple question banks all feeding to one Results slide. If the latter, you might need to add a Results slide at the end of each bank and "then" feed those into the final Results slide.

If you don't want to display section results you can move those variable references off the slide and delete the layers. Then just have some topic related text with instructions to navigate to the next section.

Thanks Kevin,

I did put a Results slide after each section, but I did not know you could use a Results slide as input to another results slide.

My intent is to show one results slide that shows each section as well as the overall results, that way if they do not pass they will know what area to concentrate on. I believe I can cut and paste the results from one slide to another. I will give it a try and find out.

Again thanks!
