multiple instancers of a module

The first time a learner takes a module we have set the player so that audio cannot be turned off (unless, of course, they turn off volume); as well Notes will be turned off.

For the "review session" we will make audio optional and expose Notes.

The only way I can think of doing this is to create a rule in the LMS to control these two instances of the module.

Is there a better way?
