Hi, I want to launch different story files for different languages using a same basic page. I was initially planning to create different scenes and link those to a title slide thereby using a single story file for this, but this is making the file size pretty heavy. I therefore want to know how to launch story files from within a story file. I found this article https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/launching-external-storyline-file describing the process but somehow that is not working for me. The url doesn't seem to open the needed storyfile. I don't want to use the web object.
The forum thread you linked there gives a good explanation for how to link a published Storyline file within another Storyline file. After uploading your published content to a web server, you'll want to link the URL for the story.html file. Would you mind sending a screenshot of the story.html file you're linking to? That may help me narrow down why your link isn't working. Thanks for reaching out!
Thanks! I actually found another way to achieve what I wanted - used triggers to launch different transcripts for different languages :), so I didn't pursue this.
