multiple question types in one freeform page?

Jun 30, 2012

Hi there

I want to combine both drag and drop AND checkboxes and maybe fill in fields in one screen...

Is it possible?  and if so... how?

Thanks

Thomas

Hi Brian

Actually what I need is to be able to detect drag and drop answers in combination with check boxes in order to update a variable which will represent the % of the document completed at any point during the users interaction with the page.

How can I show the status of drag and drop questions on the same page as where they are located?

Thanks

Thomas

If you need to be able to score the question then you could build the freeform drag and drop and then add checkboxes and build your logic in.

If you dont need to track just build it as a slide and again build in your logic, if you want to pass the status of a drag and drop off another slide then just use a variable to pass the drop correct/incorrect staus

Hi Phil

I dont know where I am going wrong but I can't get the drag and drop to work

I have created shapes over a form to accept the drag opbjects.

I have created a trigger on the drag object saying to increase variable score and completed by X amount if drag object is dragged over drag destination shape.

I publish it and it doesnt work.

I have uploaded the story file if you want to have a look... did the first two drag objects Inperial Imports and Exceptional Exports to show what I want to do.

I want to add score and % completed as the user drags and clicks on check boxes, and occasionally deduct points from score for big mistakes (wrong selections) and I want to have a feedback layer appear warning that their score is almost zero WHEN it is at 1 and in another layer a congrats you got it when completed = 100%

But I cant even get the first to drag and drop elements to work which stymies me from completing the rest...

Maybe you can shed some light...

Thomas
