Multiple Response in Themes

Mar 06, 2019

I feel like I might just be missing something, but why can't I find any Content Library templates that include a Multiple Response Question? Currently using 'Vision' but the only question type it has is Multiple Choice. This seems to be the same for most of the templates. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

Hi there, Elizabeth! The Content Library templates include mainly multiple choice and drag-and-drop interactions. The good news is that the slide master set will come along with any of the templates you choose. You can create a multiple response question and then apply the slide master layout from the template.

Here's a Peek where I demonstrated this process. Let me know if you have more questions!

Hi, I think the issue is that there are no multiple response options in the content library - there are plenty of multiple choice options, but not multiple response options. I think you should be able to create a multiple response quiz question and then apply the layout you are using for the other questions to that quiz question. I've attached a video of this. But not sure if that really answers your question Elizabeth?

All of the template slides come from a specific template and within the template there are layers, theme colors, and theme fonts.

When you insert a templated slide, the master slides will include all of the layouts. The template and layouts can be applied to any slide.

  • Insert a MC question slide or a template from Content Library.
  • Insert a blank MR question.
  • Apply the same layout/template as used in the MC slide.
  • Make slide object modifications.

One thing about the templates and slides is that the master slide usually only has part of the content. I like to think of it as a content structure. The individual slide itself may have other objects like shapes and design elements. When applying a template layout, you still need to modify the slide at the slide level.

Here's a quick overview.
