Hello! I'm working with a Multiple Response slide that has a couple of issues- when it is published or previewed, the color fill around 3 out of the 5 questions disappears. Additionally, the "incorrect" response is shown even when the user has made the correct choices.
I've tried starting new with a slide from the graded questions menu, but the problem persists.
what might be preventing the shading from showing up as in the other question slides?
Not sure I understand what you mean - do you want shading on all options or you don't want shading on all options?
Sometimes it can just be a corrupt slide that has issues and needs rebuilding but in this case it was a couple of tweaks to remove the fill...not sure if that was what you wanted.
I'm fairly new to Storyline and not sure what you mean by "normal state." My goal is to have all the questions in the slide in a filled box, and to have that same design stay with the slide all the way through the process of the student responding. Seems pretty straightforward, but I think there's some formatting on the slide template that is set up for a different approach.

Hi Elizabeth
I worked on slide 1.3 - see Peek video it's working as expected.
I removed the fill in the normal state of the two objects that were shaded.
Wow, thanks! That works better.
Any thoughts about what might be preventing the shading from showing up as in the other question slides?

Hi Wendy-
Thanks again for your advice on this. Sorry for the delay in my response.
I designed the slide to have shading around all the questions. That is the format of the other questions and we'd prefer to be consistant.
Strangely, SL was removing the shading from some (but not all) of the questions when the slide was published.
I've re-made the slide a couple of times from the template slide provided by SL and the issue persists. Any thoughts are appreciated.

I have looked into editing the states and found the way to adjust the states. Thanks for your assistance and pointing me the right direction!
Thanks for popping back in with an update, Elizabeth! Glad you were able to track down what you needed with Wendy's help :)
